What You Need for a Perfect Holiday Afternoon

A sunshiny day. Preferably a darling Grandma along for the ride.
A tiny blue harbour filled with bobbing boats. Hot chips on the wharf (even better if the lady at the shop generously gives you a large order for the price of the small one). A whole bottle of tomato sauce brought from home (no need to stint). A walk along the harbour wall to a shady park.
Then clear, warm water swishing over the rocks, in and out of tiny rockpool aquariums.

Places to explore. Pebbles to throw into the water. And for a bigger boy the small thrill of danger and excitement as the little waves sweep over your rocky island and leave you soaking wet.
