In the last week I've sewn a few pretty aprons for upcoming birthdays -- just right for soon-to-be four-year-old girls.
This year one goal is to handmake as many birthday presents as possible, and gain confidence in sewing at the same time.

I would say you are doing a fine job! I LOVE seeing other peoples sewing projects, it gets me motivated!
