This afternoon we met my brother- and sister-in-law, and a German couple who are friends of theirs, at the German Club for Sunday lunch. The Club was festooned with decorations for the upcoming Oktober Fest, and my brother-in-law bought a Lebkuchen heart for each of the 'girls'. I was delighted with mine -- which read "Du Susse Engelchen" -- and so was my own sweet little angel!
